Intentions

Process, Practice, and Partake.

This is exactly how I did not want to start this. By talking about what THIS is too directly. Like when I was seventeen and daydreamed of winning an Oscar for best director, and my imagined thank you speech started with “I dreamed of this when I was seventeen” YUCK. This blog post starts out with “I have always wanted to have a blog but…”

The “but” is life is busy and it is hard to sit down and write out some sophisticated enough thoughts to then post on the interwebs for people to inspect spelling, grammar and content. The other “but” is that blogs have always seemed unattainable to me. It appeared to me that if one wanted to have a blog they must have a niche. If you don’t have a niche then you are just blogging about your lifestyle. I neither have niche or a desire to talk about my lifestyle (what does lifestyle even mean? Potential future conversation, probably). Anywhozers, now here I am ready to just do really whatever comes my way.

The desire here is for slowing down and processing life. To intentionally practice writing and articulation abilities, and to partake in what comes of that. Whether it is creating something or doing something tangible. Moving through life without contemplation is how we end up places we don’t want to be and end up people we don’t want to be. As a young 24 year old woman I want to learn as many life lessons as early as possible. I have no clue what will come. Who knows perhaps I will once again begin to just end, if that is the case then I accept.
